MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION
OF
Elite Welfare Foundation

i) The name of the Foundation is “Elite Welfare Foundation”

ii) The Registered Office of the Foundation shall be situated at House-1/1, Road-13, Block-D, Mirpur-6, Dhaka., Bangladesh or such other place as the Foundation may time to time determine.

iii) The Working/Operational area of “Elite Welfare Foundation” will be all over Bangladesh and as per the decision of Governing Council will open branch offices anywhere in Bangladesh.

iv) Objectives of the Foundation:

1. To carry on humanitarian or charitable program among the poor women. It will be a voluntary non-political organization.
2. To take initiatives to enhance knowledge of science, literature & arts by establishing school, college, madrasa & university, research center and training center for all classes of people. To set up skilled worker training center, library or reading room for introducing reading habit to the women & common people.
3. To take initiative to distribute relief among the neglected poor & women people. To work against gender discrepancy, and to arrange seminars, workshop, sports, cultural and others social works programs for women & related to gender issues.
4. To train and educate illiterate women. To work for creating patriotism, social responsibility, ethics, values and to respect freedom fighters.
5. To raise awareness among common people regarding the difficulties of poor people and to promote humanitarian activities. To implement different types of programs and projects for socio-economic empowerment of women in the society.
6. To initiate different type of programme and project to create awareness about health issues, to provide Medical support, clinical services, critical diseases, mental health & rehabilitation, family counselling, physically challenged people with a view to increasing living standard.
7. To establish masjid, madarasa, community radio, e-paper, paper, online news portal for providing information to women for creating awareness about local and international affairs.
8. To create awareness about the negative effects of child marriage, dowry, drug, eve-teasing, fire burning and acid victim people of the country.
9. To provide knowledge and information to the women people who are interested for going abroad for work and migration.
10. To assist in the rehabilitation of orphan child & poor women people.
11. To promote and generate publicity about positive news, hopes and success of the people, organization and the country among the common people.
12. To arrange cultural program to promote publicity about the cultural diversity of the country.
13. To collect and preserve machinery and scientific equipment of archaeological and historical heritage and to awareness among the people for its usefulness and historical background.
14. To construct, maintain, alter, acquire, purchase or otherwise own or take on lease or hire in any place of Bangladesh, temporarily or permanently, any movable or immovable property.
15. To work for women in the field of poverty reduction by financing, social awareness, agricultural development, Infrastructure and cultural development, climate changes etc.
16. To raise awareness global warming, natural disaster & help to the poor & shelter-less people.
17. To raise awareness & legal aid support for domestic violence, social security, family or conjugal issues. To provide legal aid for Family issues and others civil and criminal matters for the disenfranchised women and child.
18. To establish all types of handicrafts, home appliances, food items, processed food, Naskhikatha, milk and milk processed items, cosmetics items, jute items, leather-based items, baby products and baby items-based factory and showroom by skilled workers of NGO.

Income of the Foundation

Issue appeals / applications for money and funds from interested persons and organizations in Bangladesh and abroad as grants or loan and to accept gifts, donations and subscriptions of cash and securities and any property either movable or immovable.

Undertake and accept the management of any endowment or trust fund or donation relevant to its goal and objectives.

Confer and grant fellowship, awards, prize, scholarship and stipends for higher studies and research works in the country and abroad.

Make appeal for raising necessary fund and do all other acts for generation of fund for furtherance and achieving any of the objectives and receive gifts, donations, contributions subscriptions and grants in cash, kind, security and any other property from national and international sources provided that the Foundation shall not receive any foreign donation without complying with the requirements and laid down in the Foreign Donation (Voluntary Activities) Regulation Act, 2016 and also receive fees, development charge from the students.

Utilize the wealth and property of the Foundation for purposes such as running farms and business concerns.

Borrow money for furtherance and achievement of objects of the Foundation and to invest and otherwise deal with such money and fund of the organization for promotion of its wealth and property.

Construct, maintain, alter, acquire, purchase or otherwise own or take on lease or hire in any place of Bangladesh, temporarily or permanently, any movable or immovable property.

Income Management

The income as well as finance of the Foundation will be managed in the following ways;

The Foundation may engage in income-generating and profit-making activities, and the profit will be utilized for the implementation of the goal and objectives of the Foundation.

The income and property of the Foundation, whatsoever derived, shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the objectives and the purposes of the Foundation. The income, donations, and property of the foundation will be used for the sole purpose of serving the Elite Welfare Foundation objectives set forth on this memorandum; no portion of the WFT donations or income shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividend, bonus, profit, salary, honorarium, pocket money, or otherwise by members of the Foundation.
